I shoot a lot of rock shows, and have done for years, but of late I’ve really been enjoying the stillness and quiet of sitting and waiting in a beautiful spot for the light to be right. It’s pretty much the inverse of my usual working situation. I’ll put more of these up soon. The rock and roll is over here:

Mogwai - Splendour in the Grass 2011
A 3 day 25km uphill dusty hike with 15kg pack through a herd of 30,000, 2500 photos 25 bands 4 stages 3 beers 6 panadol, 16 earplugs and Splendour is done for the 11th time. Personal highlight? Mogwai for cleaning my brain post Kanye, “Mogwai Fear Satan” made everything else seem just a bit silly really. More photos on the way soon…
